The remote port replicator (RPR) is extremely useful for those groups/agencies who have multiple brands of laptops deployed in their fleets. It is designed to be mounted away from the laptop which un-clutters the users work area preventing multiple cables from damage. The RPR only requires one available USB port on the laptop, and has 6' of cable length. The RPR then gives translates that signal into: 4x USB2.0, 1x VGA, 1x Mic In, 1x Speaker Out, 1x RJ-45 LAN, 1x Serial
