Any laptop that has connecting ports in the rear and on one side
constitutes a dual axis docking station. These systems have a single
handle to allow the operator to grab/release the laptop computer. This
handle provides the mechanism to dock the ports on both axes and quickly
lock in or disengage the unit. Our docking stations include full port
replication of the power port, DB9 serial port and DB25 parallel port.
These units are designed to maximize space in the vehicle with all
connections made underneath the docking station. Options include heater
pads to keep the unit warm in cold weather climates, goose neck lights, or
LED light/safety bar assembly with dimmer switch. Other attachments
include note pad holders and cellular phone cradles.
